"I just wanted to let you know that things are still going well with the car. The seat is very helpful and the hoist is easy to use. My sincere thanks again to Tom and Neil for all your help.”
Tom Mckeown TBC Mobility Specialist recently handed over a new caddy to a private customer and they emailed Tom the following;
"Tom, I just wanted to thank you for all your help and advice with regard to the recent delivery of my new VW Caddy Maxi Life.
As a repeat customer I was grateful for the time you spent with me describing the new features on the vehicle and for accompanying me on two test drives around Dungannon. I particularly appreciated your thoughtfulness in telephoning me on a Saturday morning to check up on how the vehicle was performing - this was above and beyond the call of duty! Many thanks again for your efficient and comprehensive service".
“Your service and customer care is first class. Tom McKeown, your sales manager was most helpful, not only in his product knowledge and the way he presented the different options available but he has been ready at all times to answer any of our questions, making our decision to purchase an easy choice. We have already recommended your company to other people since this work was carried out and will be happily do so in the future. Thank you again. It has been a hassle free pleasure dealing with you."
“We would like to thank you for the outstanding service you gave us providing us especially under such extreme weather conditions. It is hard to explain in words just what getting this car has meant to me and my wife, Rose and it certainly made our Christmas, as we have been house bound for months. It is refreshing to find people so true to their word, keeping us updated with the procedure, you have made our life so much easier and accessible again. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy New Year."
"I’ve finally got round to writing my letter of appreciation to you for my VW Caddy Maxi Life conversion. TBC Mobility Conversions has been very helpful and courteous in helping me select the right vehicle for my needs. The conversion itself is so much more comfortable and sturdy than my last vehicle. I am over the moon with both the vehicle and the continuing support from your team."
"I would like to thank you for the service you have provided with Bethany’s new Motability vehicle. We have had a very professional service throughout and extremely quick service. We are very pleased with our new vehicle and you will be our first call when it’s time to renew again."
"I must write to say how pleased I am with the way you explained everything about the VW Caddy and the quick delivery and you kept your word! Thank you! We are so pleased with the car. Will recommend you to all"
"TBC Mobility Conversions delivered a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for a family in Kent: Thank you so much for all your help getting Brian’s WAV. Without your help we would still be waiting, but because of you we have be able to take Brian out which has really made a difference, as we are now able to make memories for him and us whilst we still can. Brian’s MS has really taken a turn for the worse over the last 2 weeks, so we have been making short trips out every other day which he is really enjoying. I will never forget the kindness you have shown to both Brian and I, or the way you helped guide me through step by step the minefield called motability, even the point of you being at the end of the phone when I needed advice. I would recommend TBC Mobility Conversions to every disabled person I come across who needs a WAV. David Donnell should be very proud of having a team and company who remembers that a disabled person is still a human being and treats them and their family with such care."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!! From the moment we met you at Gosforth Racecourse, we knew you were the company for us. Your company were so enthusiastic and interested in our needs as individuals. Always being at the end of the phone to give us advice and answer silly questions. We’ll definitely be recommending TBC Conversions to anyone looking for a WAV. Wishing you a continued success,"
"It was a pleasure to meet you at Naidex at the NEC in April, and we cannot thank you enough for all the help you gave us when we were looking for a WAV. The VW Caddy Maxi is going well and the difference it has made to Ian to be able to get out and about - it has made such a difference to our lives."
“We would like to thank all at TBC Mobility Conversions for all the help, advice and hard work that all of you did for my family. Charlotte loves her WAV and it has made her and our lives much easier when transporting her around. The VW Caddy Maxi life is a super vehicle for this purpose and has tons of room for all the kit we need to take with us for Charlottes care needs. TBC Mobility Conversions has made the whole the whole experience a pleasure for us with the banter we had in a process that may have been difficult if using a different conversion company to obtain Charlottes DLA vehicle. You were always happy to answer any problems that arose with our DLA application and provided great advice."
"I must put pen to paper to express my deepest gratitude to your company for the excellent service you have given me in sorting out a suitable seat for my disabled sister. The company and the crew have provided a brilliant service, along with good advice in choosing the right seat, your endless patience, willing to listen especially, in my incessant ‘moaning’ with such endless cheerfulness. No problem was too small for you! So please accept my apologies for the delay and thank you so much for all you’ve done for me."
“Your service and customer care is first class, Cathy guided me down the right course to order my Mercedes Sprinter. This vehicle has changed my life, I am now able to attend all my appointments and take my husband to his appointments. The new vehicle has enabled me to give back to my husband and I am more independent. Thank you to Cathy and the team at TBC Conversions."
"Tom has been very helpful and gently steered me in the right direction of choosing our second vehicle for Alexander. We are so lucky to have Tom answer all our questions regarding the new vehicle, we definitely will return to TBC for our next vehicle. TBC have been amazing - thank you."
"If anyone is confused about the variety and type of wheelchair access vehicles on the market, they should talk to Tom McKeown from TBC in Dungannon. If you have reservations about the modifications carried out on vehicles a tour of the workshops should put the reservations to rest - methods and organisation of the premises are of an extremely high standard and very impressive.
Once the order was made we were kept up-to-date with progress on delivery and conversion. We decided on a VW Maxi Life and the only other thing we had to do was turn up on delivery day!
Questions on any topic at all are promptly answered by Tom.
In short, we are very pleased with the vehicle, the standard of conversion, abut above all the service we received."
"I just wanted to say a big thank you for sending Josh up to Orkney to deliver my new WAV. What a super representative of your company! He was so professional and kind, and explained everything to myself and my husband, and Carer, and was very encouraging and so helpful.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Josh, and he is doing a terrific job, thank you! Certainly, Josh is a very valuable member of your staff who you can be very justifiably proud of. Thank you again, and please pass on our thanks to Josh!"
"I have just changed from a Citroen Berlingo 3 year contract to a VW Caddy Maxi Life WAV with Motability, but personally I wouldn't have minded if it had of been a 25 year contract because I love it that much and can't see how it can be improved"
“We are delighted with the 6 wheelchair accessible vehicles that were delivered by TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions. The build quality was excellent and fully complied with our specification requirements. Of particular interest to fleet operations is the reliability of the cantilever side step and Braun inboard passenger lift, something we will continue to monitor closely. The friendly sales team maintained communication by providing regular progress updates throughout vehicle build, we also found the vehicle handover highly beneficial for our drivers, the attention to detail and knowledge provided was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions for your future vehicle requirements.” Ian Paisley, Fleet Manager, Aberdeenshire Council, June 2015
“Fermanagh Community Transport has been buying wheelchair accessible minibuses from TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions for the last four years and we are delighted with the quality and workmanship of the conversions carried out on each vehicle. On a number of occasions we were sure that a 16 seater vehicle was the only option but following consultation with TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions, we actually saved ourselves a lot of money both in the initial purchase price and the running costs by investing in a smaller 10 seater accessible minibus. Fermanagh Community Transport operates a very busy and demanding rural transport service and it is crucial that any down time on our buses is kept to a minimum. Fermanagh Community Transport does not view TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions merely as a supplier but more as a valued partner who offers a 360 degree service from the day we buy the vehicle until the day we change it for a new one.” Anita Flanagan, Project Officer, Fermanagh Community Transport , January 2015
“Gransha Taxis operate from a very busy taxi depot in Belfast and in the last couple of years we have purchased a number of converted wheelchair accessible taxis through VW Commercial Vehicles in Dungannon. In 2013, we met with TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions to discuss an accessible taxi conversion on the VW Shuttle. We found the sales team at TBC Conversions advisors to be exceptionally well informed on both PSV and taxi conversion legislation. In addition, they offered a full three year warranty on their work which gave me a sense of security considering the rigorous demands a taxi service puts on any vehicle. The converted vehicles bought in 2013 are still going strong and we are currently having another 4 built at TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions to replace older vehicles on our fleet.” Patrick Hanna, Gransha Taxis, June 2015
"TBC Specialist Conversions supplied the Ulster GAA with a vehicle, especially adapted for the distribution of tickets at games throughout the GAA season. "Thank you very much for your help in delivering this vehicle, not only touch a high standard but to brief to budget and on time. It has streamlined what we are able to do, makes us mobile and is of real benefit to everyone involved."
"TBC Specialist Conversions supplied KN Networks with a fleet of modified crew vans in support of their work across Northern Ireland."
“In 2012, TBC Specialist Conversions tendered for and were awarded a 3 year contract to convert both new and current vehicles on the Northern Ireland Water Fleet. In that time they have successfully converted a wide range of vehicles on our fleet, from small vans through to our large double-decker Education bus. I find them accommodating and flexible and their team have built up excellent relationships with both our depot managers and technicians on the ground which makes my life as a procurement manager a lot less complicated. We have recently reviewed the 3 year contract and have agreed to extend this for a further year.” Neil Winters, NIW Procurement Officer, June 2015
